Plastics have allowed for a mass of new types of fixing mechanisms that exploit the flexibility and resilience of plastics.
Everybody knows about Velcro. It is a very useful material, especially in its self-adhesive form. It has been used widely from wearable to industrial. But, sadly, Velcro is not so strong. Bet, hey, 3M™ Dual Lock™ is here to help you!
Instead of the hook-and-loop principle, 3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fasteners relies on a series of tiny mushrooms to join the two identical halves of the material together. And 3M™ claims that it if five times gripping power than Velcro, but still lightweight.
