PressLoad is a highly efficient energy absorbing material with a low cost component.It was originally developed as a lightweight energy absorber to compete with honeycomb and other panel products.
This structural panel is based on the same principle as an egg box. Its arrangement of conical shells provides strength and the ability to deform in a predictable way. The flat tops of the cones and the ability to mold flaps provides different options from easy fixing to headliners or other interior parts.
